Punjab :

10 more persons have tested positive for #COVID19 in Jawaharpur village, Dera Bassi. Total positive cases in the village stand at 32. Total active cases in the district is 41 now: Girish Dayalan, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohali, Punjab


Punjab extends lockdown/curfew in the state till May 1st in view of COVID19 Pandemic.

Madhya Pradesh :

A 65-year-old local doctor has died due to #COVID19 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Three more men have tested positive posthumously, taking total number of deaths to 27 & cases to 235: Indore Chief Medical & Health Officer Praveen Jadiya

Gujarat :

14 Months old boy with no travel history tested positive for corona virus in gujarat’s Jamnagar.


Delhi :

Covid-19 Cases reach 523 in Delhi, with 20 fresh cases being reported in the last 24 Hours including 10 attendees of tablighi jamaat event in Nizamuddin. One person died of COVID-19 in the last 24 Hours. Total Deaths stands at 7. Total 25 patients are on vantilators : CM Arvind Kejrival.


Karnataka :

In the last 24 Hours, 12 new cases have been confirmed for COVID-19 in the state. Till Now, there are 163 COVID-19 positive cases in the state, including 4 deaths & 20 discharged : Karnataka Health Department


Maharashtra : 

  • A 27 years old #COVID19 patient, a resident of Ahmednagar, died at Sassoon Hospital in Pune, Maharashtra today. It was a case of multi-organ dysfunction syndrome: Pune health officials

57 New COVID-19 Cases in Mumbai; tally 490 including 34 deaths BMC.


Tamil Nadu :

Tamil Nadu Reports 50 New patients of COVID-19. 48 of them are from tablighijamat cluster. The remaining two patients are from chennai of which one is 57 years old with an acute respiratory infection.

Total COVID19 cases are 109; Active cases 103 – 85 in Kashmir division and 18 in Jammu; 3 new cases so far- all in Kashmir: Rohit Kansal, Principal Secretary-Planning, Jammu and Kashmir.


There are a total of 39 positive cases in Odisha. 2 patients have been cured and discharged from the hospital, 87 persons are in quarantine: Sanjay Singh, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, I&PE Department, Odisha.

Andhra Pradesh

As many as 266 Coronavirus positive cases detected till 9AM this morning. 243 of them are those who attended Delhi Jamaat & their contacts: Jawahar Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Medical & Health Department Special Chief Secretary


Till Now there are 90 Covid (Coronavirus) Cases in haryana. Out of the 90 cases, 29 persons have recovered, 1 Death : Haryana CM ML Khattar.



  • 57 new #COVID19 positive cases have been reported today including 15 from Jaipur and 12 from Banswara. Total active cases of #COVID19 stand at 520: Rajasthan Health Department

22 Fresh Coronavirus positive cases reported today, taking the total number of cases in the state to 288: Rajasthan Health Department.



9th Covid19 Patient (Total of 19 coronavirus patients) in Chattisgarh has also now fully recovered. So now there is only 1 person in chattisgarh who has coronavirus and he is being looked after by a team of expert doctors, all other patients have been cured : Chattisgarh Health Minister.

27 More Positive Cases.

Uttar pradesh: Covid19 cases reach 305, with 27 more people (21 of Tablighi Jamaat) testing positive till 8 PM today. Out of the total cases 159 are linked to tablighi jamaat. Maximum 61 cases have been reported in gautam budh nagar.
